In 2019, the Turkish niche fragrance house Nishane introduced Ani, an Extrait de Parfum inspired by the historic ruined city of Ani on the Turkish-Armenian border. The fragrance is conceived not only as an olfactory homage but also as a symbol of understanding and dialogue across borders.
The top note opens with a fresh and spicy burst of bergamot and pepper, lending the composition energy and vibrancy. At its heart, a sensual fusion of rose and blackcurrant unfolds, refined with cardamom and rounded off with soft vanilla accords.
